| Washington's Headquarters NYS Historic Site in Newburgh New York completed an extensive renovation in November 2012. The museum will display rare, curious, and important items not seen by the public for many years. Because of space limitations, a solution was needed to display as many items as possible while providing the ability to explore each item in detail. Cogent worked with the curators of the museum to come up with a solution that is cost effective, expandable, and user friendly for it's guests. | |||

| To display over 1300 items in s small amount of space required a solution to allow guests to explore items in more detail. Cogent worked with the curators of the museum to come up with a total solution including hardware and software. An iPad app was developed to provide the means for viewing every item in detail including high resolution photographs, detail descriptions, curatorial information, and related objects. The iPad app connects to a database that resides on a iMac computer in their local network. This allows data to be updated as needed without the need to rebuild the app. | |||
